Biography
Helena Record is a fourth-year medical student at the University of California, San Francisco, pursuing a joint masterβs in epidemiology and biostatistics.
Her current research explores the use of endocrine therapy and ovarian function suppression in the treatment of patients with invasive lobular breast carcinoma.
Helena is also passionate about advancing health equity in global surgical care. During medical school, she was awarded an NIH-TL1 grant to complete a yearlong research fellowship focused on improving the quality of cesarean section care in lower-resource settings.
