News Skill Labs Opening!

As of Wednesday, October 30th, the Skills Lab has officially opened its doors at the new Embarcadero location! The cutting-edge simulation and skills center is designed to enhance surgical training. With 5,730 square feet of dedicated space for multiple simultaneous sessions, the Da Vinci robot, a laparoscopic training room, endoscopy, microsurgical techniques, a 3-D printer for models, and a resident lounge area, the skill center can support trainees from numerous specialties, medical students, and community engagement. 

Open House Event

On December 12th, 2024, the Surgical Skills Lab celebrated its relocation with an Open House event. 

Residents were invited to explore the state-of-the-art facility, enjoy refreshments, and watch dynamic simulations highlighting robotic, laparoscopic, and open-surgery techniques.
