Biography
Courtney A. Green, M.D., MAEd is a general surgery resident at UCSF. She has been involved in surgical education research and development for over 7 years. Dr. Green has a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and received her M.D. from University of Minnesota in 2013. She completed a master's degree in health profession's education at the Department of Education at UC Berkeley in 2017.

Courtney A. Green, M.D's research interests involve how to improve surgical curricula to appropriately train future surgical leaders. This necessitates investigation into the components required for both technical and conceptual skill acquisition in the field of surgery. Additionally, she is interested in understanding how new technologies can augment surgical training and lead to better patient care.
